Andrew Narraway, Bay Area investor who lost over $2 million to James McConville, explains.

Andy Narraway made five loans totaling $1,875,000 on five separate properties owned by the now notorious real estate scam artist, Jim McConville, over a two-year period, December 2003 to October 2005. All five loans together with $760,000 in accrued interest, are now in foreclosure. Mr. Narraway is alleging fraud by three national banks that accepted and recorded reconveyances (deeds normally used to record the fact that a prior loan has been paid off) but never paid off Mr. Narraway! He has filed for court judgments declaring that each of his loans is in prior position to those of the banks that are foreclosing. The banks are claiming that Narraway’s loans are junior liens and will be wiped out in foreclosure. I asked him how three banks could have each made such egregious "mistakes" in not paying him off. Listen to his response.
